Nurturing Growth: Deepen relationship with the Creation Care Alliance and explore a covenant partnership

Suggested Practices and Examples for Implementation:

  • Send a representative from your congregation to a Creation Care Alliance workshop, meeting, book study, or training
  • Invite the director or a representative from Creation Care Alliance to a congregational class, meal, or worship experience

Creation Care Alliance is open to all people and faith communities in Western North Carolina. We have worked with over 70 local congregations on our various initiatives and events over the past six years, and several faith communities have chosen to be in partnership with us by signing our covenant. These congregations and faith partners are listed below:


Deepening Roots: Establish ongoing collaboration with the Creation Care Alliance, including sharing space, wisdom and resources

Suggested Practices and Examples for Implementation:

  • Offer to host a Creation Care Alliance workshop or meeting at your faith community
  • Collaborate on a blog or offer written curriculum for the Creation Care Alliance
  • Host a Creation care related book study that is open to the whole community
  • Create an Eco Challenge team and share the results
