National Faith & Climate Forum – Asheville Hybrid Host Site

🌈 Creation Care Alliance and Land of the Sky United Church of Christ will host the National Faith & Climate Forum, a free, live-streamed conference on Saturday, April 25 in Asheville at 15 Overbrook Place. One of the nation’s largest and most diverse gatherings at the intersection of faith and climate, the Faith and Climate Forum annually gathers more than 2,000 participants across 80 host locations, representing more than 550 congregations and 30 faith traditions and denominations. Clergy and lay people come together to learn, collaborate, and implement faithful climate solutions in their communities.

This year, renowned climate expert and author, Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson, will address the conference theme: The Future We Choose: Faith in Action for a Thriving Tomorrow. WNC’s Julie Lehman, Engagement Manager for Creation Care Alliance, will share Hurricane Helene’s impact our regionon a panel with faith community leaders impacted by the LA fires and Hurricane Ian in – Stories of Renewal: Faith Communities Rising After Climate Disaster.
