Earth Day Garden Party

Brannen Basham and Jill Jacobs, owners of Spriggly’s Beescaping, will be the featured guests with our covenant partner congregation, The Congregational Church, UCC, in Tryon, as they celebrate Earth Day 2024. Spriggly’s concentrates on habitat restoration and landscape design that supports and protects our native bees and pollinators. Their main focus is on education. Brannen and Jill have a passion and enthusiasm for landscapes that are beautiful and beneficial, landscapes where people and nature intersect in support of each other, creating an environment where everyone can flourish.

You are invited to join us for this Earth Day Garden Party on Sunday, April 21 from 3 – 4:30PM, highlighted by a presentation on native plants and pollinators and a tour of our gardens, a work in progress, as we transition from merely beautiful and conventional to gardens that are beneficial and native by design. Lemonade and cookies will be served.
