Live Staking Workday with Reems Creek – Beech Presbyterian Church and Native Plant Giveaway 3/14

Join us Saturday, March 14th for a special day dedicated to restoring our creek banks and supporting native plant populations in our community.
In the morning, we will partner with Reems Creek – Beech Presbyterian Church to live stake areas along Reems Creek, up and down Blackberry Inn Road. All tools will be provided, and staff will guide volunteers in the art of live staking. The church will also provide lunch for all volunteers. (Please indicate in the sign-up form whether you plan to stay for lunch.)
In the afternoon, Reems Creek — Beech Presbyterian Church will host a Native Plant Giveaway with a special focus on plants that help restore and stabilize streambanks. Community experts will be available to share information about:
*How to make and plant live stakes
*How to care for and nurture native plants
*Ways to restore and protect your streambanks
*Creating habitat for wildlife and pollinators
