• Calculate your water usage (monthly and annually).
• Schedule a water audit for your faith community.
• Walk your congregational/individual property and notice where the water is.
  • Where does water settle when it rains? 
  • Is there a creek on your property? A pond? A lake? 
  • Are there storm drains on your property? Or lots of impervious surfaces (like pavement)? 
• Learn what watershed you belong to and the names of the rivers and streams that are part of your community. 
• What is the significance of water in your faith tradition?
  • Ask your faith leaders and share what you learn with your congregation/creation care team.
